According to the Norwegian agency NTB, Høiby – who was arrested on Sunday night – was admitted to the hospital for unknown reasons, although that did not prevent him from going to court this Monday. «He’s not having it easy. He is afraid of the trial due to media pressure and the seriousness of the case«one of his lawyers, Petar Sekulic, told NTB the day before.

When he was charged last June, Høiby, the result of a relationship with Mette-Marit prior to her marriage to Crown Prince Haakonthe list was about twenty, which increased to 32 when the accusation was made public in August and to 38 a few days ago, after new interrogations and searches.

The Norwegian royal family will not be present
